Woke Beauty Membership Details
Without further adieu, welcome to the magical land of a Woke Beauty membership:
a service that provides you with recurring, captivating content that you can be proud of. With this membership, you receive frequent contact with me, a minimum of 20 images per month (and let’s be real, I usually send more) and storytelling consulting. It’s perfect if you need a website makeover, want to build up imagery you can pull at anytime or are looking for social media content that actually represents you and your brand.
How did I come up with this? I’ve observed soul crushing frustration from so many female entrepreneurs around creating imagery and an online narrative to accurately portray what they do. I felt it was my duty to alleviate the stress; to provide a refined, thoughtful solution to the problem. I have great respect for any woman willing to take the risk to create something from scratch. I know how much effort that takes. I would never want to see her falter just because she struggles with her online presence.
Here’s the deal: the whole point of this is for you to sit back and enjoy doing what you love instead of worrying about how you're going to expose that very passion to your audience and community. Running a business is hard enough on its own. I’m here to cheer you on and capture your power authentically.
If you’re wondering if this is right for you; my membership heroines are exceptionally varied. They do not fit into one demographic. The breadth of this offering is limitless.
What is a Storytelling Consultation?
In our modern day, compelling content demands compelling stories. Consumers, followers and fans want a peek behind the curtain. They crave a tangible narrative and relatability. They want to know and see you (not it). Successful branding is personal and when it comes to identity, we, as humans, attribute specific elements and entities to those we observe. It’s important to maintain continuity and clarity within your narrative in order to seamlessly reach your audience on a deeper level.
Beautiful images are lackluster without compelling stories.
Compelling stories lack enticement without beautiful images.
In my consultations, I guide you through a thoughtful, creative (mind blowing) process that allows you to develop your personal and professional narrative. As we develop your tale, I act as your interpreter, providing you with framework to translate your vision into words that resonate.
I teach you how to: reflect purposely, develop your message, write your ‘why’, determine key aspects of your brand, utilize aesthetic and messaging…and so much more.

If you’ve made it this far you’re probably curious about how this works...so here are a few details:
➳ 2020 memberships start at $495 / month (bimonthly and seasonal options now available!)
➳ ...with a 3 month commitment
➳ Time with me ranges from 1 - 2 hours per month of photography and consulting - depending on the package you choose
➳ I provide a minimum of 20 images per month within 1 week of our session
➳ Members and photographer (me!) have shared rights to images; both parties may use the images across web, social and print platforms whether for branding, publishing or any other need. I’m not greedy here, ladies.

Here are answers to the most popular questions I’m asked.
How does payment work?
Membership automatically renews monthly, every 6 weeks, or quarterly (depending on the membership type you choose) from the date you sign up. Easy peasy!
Where do we go?
Locations are to be decided between you and me whether at your home, in a studio or any public space. Check out my blog post on some of my favorite locations around Austin and browse Woke Beauty’s Instagram for ideas.
How do I plan and what do I shoot?
I highly recommend making a mood board using the beloved Pinterest. Here’s an example (I made this one for me…hehe). Subjects range from: yourself, your product, your friends, your family, your dog/s, close ups of whatever makes you glow (books, knick knacks, places). Think outside of the box and know you can rely on me for support.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel a session? I’m super busy and my schedule can be unreliable.
Girl. I get it. Cancellations and reschedules must be made via email 72 hours + before your session. Should you cancel within 72 hours, that session is no longer valid. Unused sessions do not rollover (this policy is strictly enforced). I’m a big fan of flexibility and leniency but I have to watch my own schedule too. :)
What if I want to pause or cancel my membership?
Memberships may not be frozen. To cancel, contact Riley directly. 30 days written notice are required to cancel. If you cancel a membership, you will lose your existing rate. If your billing date is less than 30 days from your notice date, you will be charged for one final month.
