Your Most Frequently Asked Questions:

• How many photos will I get in return?

  • Approximately 40 images however this ranges greatly depending on the content needed. If you have a very specific shot list that involves a lot of moving parts (shooting for a course or campaign for example) then you will likely receive more than my average shooting rate. I am not greedy when it comes to imagery. I strive to give you a dynamic set that you can utilize for various needs. And if you’re shooting for just social, I want your feed to look compelling!

• Are there props at the studio?

  • Yes! You can see examples of props in the above images: couches, moving walls, backdrops, dried flowers, faux plants, artwork, trinkets, rugs and more!

• Can I bring someone with me?

  • You are welcome to bring up to 4 people with you for your photoshoot. We ask that anyone not being photographed is in a mask.

• What is your CoVid-19 Protocol?

  • My assistant, Noel, and I are conservative around our daily lifestyles. We get tested regularly, follow CDC guidelines and keep our pods small. Cityhouse Collective has a tight knit community. They practice all precautions to keep the studio clean, sanitized and safe. During the photoshoot, Noel and I will remain in masks at all times. Rest assured, we are doing everything in our power to keep all of us safe and healthy.

• Do you do headshots?

  • Absolutely. I refer to them as portraits as my style is more candid and organic.

• How do you feel about artificial lighting?

  • I consider myself a natural light photographer however I am skilled with artificial lighting. I bring in static lights and a flash for areas of the studio that need a little boost.

• What is a shot list?

  • Traditionally, shot lists map out everything that will happen in a scene or video. Relevant to a photoshoot, shot lists aid greatly in our run of show as they outline wardrobe, location, concept, props needed and overall aesthetic. They are a great resource for efficiency and clarity so that we can flow seamlessly while we are shooting together!

• …do I have to make a shot list alone?

  • I will guide you through every step in our 30 minute consultation! We will build out a google document together for your personal use and reference.

• I’m super nervous to have my picture taken! How do I get over that?

  • You are welcome to feel nervous, awkward and inexperienced. All of those feelings are valid, common and completely understandable. I strive to hold space for you to show up just as you are.
